Privacy Policy

FullPlated is a text-message service by Groflo Inc. that suggests affordable dinners and what they cost at your local dollar store. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what we will never do with it.

Groflo Inc. maintains strict privacy policies, ensuring that personal information and mobile information of our users and members is not sold, shared, rented, released, or traded to third parties for marketing or promotional purposes. No mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third party except the messaging providers who deliver our messages.

What we collect

Your mobile number, because you texted us. That is the only way we obtain it. We do not buy, rent or import phone numbers from anyone.
What you tell us in the conversation: how many people you are feeding, your budget, which store is closest, and optionally your ZIP code, any allergies or dislikes, what you already have in your kitchen, and what you can cook with.
The messages themselves, inbound and outbound, so we can answer you and improve the service.
Whether you opened a recipe page, and whether you told us you cooked the meal.

We do not ask for your name, your address, your email, or any payment information, and we have no way to accept them. FullPlated is free.

Why we collect it

To work out which dinners fit your household and your budget, and what they cost.
To send you the three options, the recipe link, and one follow-up per plan asking whether you cooked it.
To answer HELP, STOP and START, and to honour an opt-out.
To understand, in aggregate, whether the service actually helps people get dinner cooked.

Allergies. If you tell us about an allergy we store it so we never suggest something unsafe. If we cannot confidently understand what you have told us, we stop and ask rather than guess.

How you opt in

You opt in by texting the keyword MEALS to 415-787-4121. You may have seen that instruction in a creator's video or post, on a printed card or QR code, or in a direct message. However you found it, the consent happens when you send us that text. We never message anyone who has not texted us first, and consent is not a condition of any purchase.

How you opt out

Reply STOP to opt out. STOP, STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END and QUIT all work, from any message, at any point in the conversation. We will send one confirmation and then nothing further. Reply START or UNSTOP to opt back in. Reply HELP at any time for help.

The assistant on our website

Our website has a page where you can type what you need instead of texting us. How it handles what you type depends on how that page is built, and the page itself always says which applies at the bottom of the screen.

If it says nothing you type leaves your phone, that is literally true. The recipes, the prices and the calculation are all inside that page, and it makes no network requests at all.
If it says your words go to our server, then the sentences you type are sent to us and passed to an AI provider so it can work out what you meant. Your shopping list and your total are still worked out on your device and are never sent. We do not store those messages, and the provider processes them on our behalf only, not for their own purposes.

The assistant never decides what anything costs. Every price you see is calculated by our own code from shelf prices we recorded in a store, which is why we can stand behind the numbers.

Who we share it with

We do not sell, rent or trade your information, and we never share your mobile number or your opt-in consent with anyone for marketing.

We use service providers who only process data on our behalf and only to run the service: a messaging provider to deliver texts to your carrier, and a hosting and database provider to store the conversation. They are not permitted to use your information for their own purposes.

We work with food creators, and we report to them in aggregate only, for example how many households cooked a meal in a week. We never give a creator your number or your messages.

We may disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect someone's safety.

How long we keep it

We keep your conversation while your number is active with us, and for up to 24 months after your last message so we can honour an opt-out and keep an accurate consent record. If you opt out we keep the minimum needed to make sure we do not message you again.

You can ask us to delete your information at any time by emailing support@groflo.io. We will confirm when it is done.

How we protect it

Conversations are stored in an access-controlled database, encrypted in transit and at rest, reachable only by our own server rather than from a browser. Access is limited to people who need it to run the service. No system is perfect, and we will tell you if something happens that affects you.

Children

FullPlated is for adults doing the household shopping. It is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has texted us, email support@groflo.io and we will delete it.

Your choices

You can stop the messages at any time with STOP, ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Depending on where you live you may have additional rights under state privacy law. Email support@groflo.io and we will help either way.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. If a change materially affects how we use your information, we will tell you by text before it takes effect.
